V-Tec High-Expansion is a multi-grained refractory investment used for fabricating all-porcelain restorations. Technicians have found that it works excellent for porcelain veneers and crowns, mainly because of it's ample setting expansion and hardness. V-Tec is hard enough that it can even be poured directly into the impression in most cases. It is compatible with porcelains such as Ceramco, Syn-Spar, Creation, Noritake, and many others with a similar coefficient of thermal expansion.
