V-Tec is a multi-grained refractory investment used for fabricating all-porcelain restorations. Technicians have found that it works excellent for porcelain veneers and crowns, mainly because of it's ample setting expansion and hardness. V-Tec is hard enough that it can even be poured directly into the impression in most cases. This is the regular expansion formula and it is compatible with porcelains such as Shofu Vintage, Vita Omega, Ducera, and other European ceramo-metal porcelains with a similar coefficient of thermal expansion.
