Maves Inlay Wax is the standard in crown and bridge waxes. The reason for this is consistency - they have been using the same formula since 1950. Many other companies claim to have wax that handles and carves exactly the same, but this is not true. This wax is great for carving cast crowns and inlays. Although the differences between them is minor, Maves Wax is available in 3 different hardnesses. This is the hardest one (#3). Each package contains 1 pound of green sticks (approx. 250) and each one measures about .25” diameter x 2.5” length. Made in the USA.
