Met-Etch is an acid etching gel that dramatically increases the mechanical retention of the metal surface, providing a superior surface on which to bond composite. It can be used to etch the metal in repair cases where the surface of the porcelain has fractured away, leaving exposed metal. Also for etching the wings of Maryland Bridges prior to bonding. Although Met-Etch is mainly for non-precious alloys, other alloys can also be etched with Met-Etch. Each package has a 2cc syringe with 12 dispensing needles.
